Deeb’s blue

Polyommatus deebi deebi

A small blue with a wingspan of 25-35 mm, resembling the Poseidon except for the white stripe on the undersides. The Deeb’s inhabits mountainous terrain primarily on the eastern side of the country, as well as semi-desert. Host plants associated with this butterfly are eryngos (Eryngium spp.). This butterfly flies in the month of July.
