Polyommatus isauricoides isauricoides
A small blue with a wingspan of 25-35 mm, males are a silvery-blue while females are a brown with yellow crescent-shaped markings. The baby lives at higher altitudes, on scrub patches overgrowing with milk-vetches, stony steppes, and mountainsides. Host plants associated with this butterfly are milk-vetches (Astragalus spp.). This species flies May through August.
