Baldur blue

Plebejus baldur

A small blue with a wingspan of 25-30 mm, males are typically violet-blue with black borders. The baldur lives in different types of habitats, such as grassland, pastures, damp wet meadows, woodland, and stony mountain slopes. This butterfly is sometimes considered a subspecies of the northern blue.
