A smaller distinctly pale damselfly with a body length of 35-37 and a hindwing length of 19-23 mm. The ivory lives in slow-flowing water such as streams, rivers, springs, and irrigation ditches, sometimes in ponds and lakes. This endemic species flies May through August.
