Cigaritis cilissa

A leopard butterfly with a wingspan of 25-35 mm, differs from the common leopard by being coppery-red. The lesser lives mainly in dry parts of the country, along the coast, and in steppes and semi-desert. This species flies late April through July, and is considered endangered.
