Turanana endymion endymion

A small blue with a wingspan of 20-32 mm, males are a deep blue with black markings while females are a bluish-brown. The odd-spot inhabits higher altitudes, on dry stony slopes and mountainsides. The host plant associated with this butterfly is prickly-thrift (Acantholimon spp.). This species flies from May through July.
