Satyrium ledereri nazeri
A hairstreak with a wingspan of 28-34 mm, males and females both being of a dark brownish-grey colour. The orange-banded lives in thickets, steppes, and dry stony slopes. Host plants include Labillardiere’s atraphaxis (Atraphaxis billardieri), as well as almonds and cherries (Prunus spp.). This butterfly flies June through August, flight is low and close to the ground.
