Akbesia davidi

A large hawkmoth with a wingspan of 60-70 mm. The pistacia lives on stony slopes and hilly places with olives, carob, oak, and terebinth. Host plants include terebinth (Pistacia spp.) and sumach (Rhus coriaria). This moth flies April through August.
