Platycnemis kervillei

A smaller damselfly with a body length of 35-37 mm and a hindwing length of 19-23 mm, resembles the blue. Also called “Kerville’s featherleg,” this highly-camouflaged damselfly lives in standing and slow-flowing water. This endemic species flies June through August.
