Libellula pontica

A medium-sized dragonfly with a body length of 39-48 mm and a hindwing length of 32-38 mm. This dragonfly lives in slow-flowing water such as ponds, canals, ditches, marshes, and swamps, bordered by rushes and reeds. This endemic species flies May through July, and is considered near threatened.
