Orthetrum taeniolatum
A smaller dragonfly with a body length of 33-38 mm and a hindwing length of 25-28 mm, with brown eyes, a greenish-brown thorax, and bluish abdomen, which is lacking in females. This dragonfly lives in medium- to slow-flowing marshy streams and rivers, as well as shallow lakes. This species is on the wing nearly year-round, spending much of its time perched on the water’s edge or sitting on pebbles on the ground.
